Welcome to QiYue Astro ("QiYue", "We", "Us", or "Our"), accessible at https://qiyueastro.com (the "Website" or "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern Your access to and use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

The Service provides AI-powered cultural and personal growth insights, including traditional divination and oracle tools such as I Ching, Tarot, Chinese metaphysics, numerology and related cultural practices (collectively, the "Readings"). Readings are generated by automated engines and artificial intelligence models, and are intended for entertainment, education, self-exploration and personal reflection only. All Readings and AI-generated content on the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and may not be accurate, complete or reliable.

QiYue does not claim that any Reading is accurate, predictive, or a guarantee of any outcome. All content provided through the Service is provided "as is" and for informational and entertainment purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If You are under the age of 16, You may not create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, You represent that You meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under Your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, and to keep Your account information updated.
  • You may not create accounts through automated means, impersonate others, or create multiple accounts to circumvent Our policies.
  • We may suspend or terminate Your account if We reasonably believe You have violated these Terms.

4. Credits, Purchases and Digital Goods

  • Some features of the Service require "credits" or "points", which are virtual, non-tangible digital goods. Credits are added to Your account after a payment is confirmed.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, including Creem. QiYue does not directly store or process Your payment card details. Please review Our Privacy Policy for more information.
  • Credits are consumed when You use paid features, such as casting a reading. Once consumed, credits are non-refundable. Unused credits do not expire unless otherwise stated by QiYue.
  • All purchases are subject to Our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. No Professional Advice and Disclaimer of Warranties

Readings and all other content on the Service are provided for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, medical, psychological, financial, investment, tax or other professional advice. You should not rely on any Reading as a basis for decisions regarding health, finances, legal matters, relationships or any other important life decision.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. QIYUE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY READING OR OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR RELIABLE.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or Our systems;
  • Abusing, interfering with, or attempting to overload the Service, including denial-of-service attacks, automated scraping, or bulk automated requests to Our APIs;
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting Your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Reselling, sublicensing or commercially exploiting the Service or any Reading without Our prior written consent;
  • Using the Service to harass, abuse, threaten or harm others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and the underlying engines and algorithms, is owned by or licensed to QiYue and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Traditional public-domain texts (such as classical Chinese classics and public-domain tarot artwork) are used in accordance with their public-domain status. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for Your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party service providers to operate, including: Cloudflare (hosting, database and email routing), Creem (payment processing), Brevo (transactional email), Google (optional sign-in), and AI model providers (DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud Qwen and/or Google Gemini) that generate readings. Your use of such third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. QiYue is not responsible for the practices of third parties, but we only engage providers that are necessary for the Service to function.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QIYUE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC READING OR PURCHASE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including without limitation if You violate these Terms. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 7, 9, 11 and 12 shall survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When We do, We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify You by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which QiYue Astro is established (China), without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may seek resolution in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
